How much does it cost to hire a bar?
Cost depends on a multitude of factors such as: bar size, product selection, type of bar, location, other requirements such as glasses, cocktails or not, staff and so on. Our rates are reasonable and we welcome you to contact us for a quotation based on your specific requirements.
Do we need a licence?
A licence is usually only required in the case of "paying" bars.
Can the bar be set up anywhere?
Yes, we can normally set the bars up anywhere as long as we are aware of venue and flooring type etc. The bar is fully mobile and designed to be positioned anywhere!
Can you supply staff?
Yes, we supply highly professional, friendly, experienced hospitality staff. We will include costing for this in your quotation. We have a number of professional bartenders trained in the art of mixing drinks and flaring. We can provide just staff if required, although appropriate equipment and ingredients are essential.
What geographical area do you cover?
The company is based in South Manchester and covers the entire North-West, Cheshire, Yorkshire and parts of the Midlands and North Wales. We have also worked at events in the South.
What cocktails do you serve?
Our menus can include our own fruity, sour, sweet, long and short drinks, classic and contemporary cocktails as well as non-alcoholic mocktails. We also create signature cocktails for clients wanting to enhance the ‘wow’ factor at events.
What products can you supply/which do you recommend?
We are able to supply nearly all product lines including many top brands. In terms of product offering, we recommend a simple cocktail menu and core drinks often requested which provide an excellent balance of quality and value.
Do you offer a sale or return facility?
Yes, we will refund all unopened spirits, boxes of wines and beers under most circumstances.
Do you have any insurance cover?
Yes, we have Public Liability and Employers Liability cover for every event we complete.
Can I choose what drinks to have on the menu, perhaps have a theme?
Yes, we will be happy to advise you to ensure you have a well-balanced menu for your guests.
How many guests can you serve?
No party is too big as our flexible bars range in size to be suitable for any number of guests.
How long does it take to set up the bars?
Obviously this depends on the size of the bar and the amount of additional equipment required. Generally, it takes around an hour to set up for a modestly sized event, bearing in mind that some cocktail bars require more time and additional preparation.
Can you theme your bars and our party?
The bar can be decorated to emphasise your party's theme or company branding. In addition to themed menus and drinks, the bartenders can dress up for further effect!
Can you supply glasses/disposable glasses?
Yes, we supply a full range of glasses including flamboyant, cocktail, standard and disposables. Pricing for all such glasses depends on the level of quantity and quality required. This would be included in a costing.
Do you do Pay Bars?
Yes, we are able to offer a paying bar service. This requires an occasional event licence being obtained.
How do we keep the drinks cool?
We are able to supply a range of cooling equipment, fridges etc with our bars to ensure that products are kept at optimum temperatures at all times. We also guarantee to use ice throughout the event, offering cocktails and other drinks at an enjoyable, consistent standard.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Due to demand Fluid cannot guarantee any date until a booking fee is paid. We have numerous bookings for next year already. We accept Cheques, BACS transfer or cash as methods of payment.
